Each candle includes care and lighting instructions on the bottom label and the care card provided at purchase. Candles add a fragrant enhancement to living and work spaces and are safe to enjoy, but we encourage care and attention to the following guidelines:
ALWAYS trim your wick to 1/8” - 1/4” before lighting. Every time. Your candle will burn longer, cleaner and more evenly.
For the initial burn, allow the candle to create a full melted wax pool across the entire candle. This will ensure even burning and maximum fragrance release for the life of your candle and is typically achieved within 3 hours.
For subsequent lightings we recommend a burn time of 3-4 hours, fully melting the wax across the top each time. If you like to leave a candle burning for an extended time, we strongly recommend extinguishing the flame, trimming the wicks and relighting every 3-4 hours. This will prolong the burn time and reduce the possibility of excess carbon buildup on the wick tip (which occurs regardless of the wax / fragrance formula).
If your wick begins smoking or flickering excessively, extinguish the flame and trim the wick – then relight the candle.
Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times.
Use care when extinguishing the candle; a short, directed puff of air aimed at each wick is usually sufficient. Alternatively, you can use a candle snuffer. We do not recommend using a candle lid to extinguish the flame as this will trap smoke inside your container.
Tip: to prevent smoke from an extinguished wick, gently bend the wick until it touches the melted wax. This will immediately extinguish any smoke. Alternatively, you can use a toothpick or other utensil to gently drip a couple drops of the melted wax onto the wick tip for the same result.
Do not move candles until the wax is cooled and set. Use caution as containers can be hot to the touch.
Discard candles when there is 1/4 inch of wax remaining.
Enjoy your candles!
Consider using several candles for a permeating fragrance in large spaces with high ceilings or open floor plans.

We use a custom blend of coconut apricot luxury wax - natural, sustainable, vegan and non-toxic. The coconut apricot wax is neutral in scent and you can expect an even and long-lasting burn from our candles.
We use high-quality, clean fragrance oils that are specifically made for candles and contain essential oil components. In addition, all of our fragrances are free of phthalates and parabens, as well as a long list of other undesirable chemicals known to cause cancer and other health issues. The delicate and costly nature of essential oils does not lend to creating candles, so we recommend customers diffuse or otherwise enjoy their essential oils, and buy high quality, natural wax candles for burning.
Yes! Once there is about 1/4 inch of wax left, stop using the candle. Use caution and care when removing the remaining wax, wicks and any labeling. Our suggestion is to gently scrape out the wax and wicks/wick stickers with a rigid silicone utensil (we don’t recommend knives or other metal items) and discard all wax in the trash - never put wax down the drain or garbage disposal. Then place the container in hot soapy water to soften any residue and labels, and wash, rinse and dry. We do not recommend scraping labels off as this might damage the surface of the container. Containers may be put in dishwasher once all wax and label residue is gone. Note: we assume no liability for candle containers or subsequent results of reuse by the consumer, once purchased.
Nope, and nope. Our candles are natural wax and fragrance oil only, and we use cotton wicks free of metal, zinc and lead.
